Leather care

Leather is a natural material: its texture, grain and patina may change over time. Appropriate care preserves its appearance without altering its surface.

Lambskin and smooth leather

Gently dust your piece with a clean, soft, dry cloth. If it comes into contact with liquid, blot without rubbing, then let it dry naturally, away from any direct heat source.

Before using a specialist leather-care product, test it on a small, discreet area and follow the manufacturer's recommendations. For a large or persistent stain, seek the advice of a leather professional.

Suede

Suede needs different care from smooth leather. Avoid creams, oils or waxes not intended for this material, as they can darken it or change its velvety look.

For light care, gently use a clean brush made specifically for suede. If it gets damp, blot without rubbing and let it air-dry, away from any heat source. For a deep stain, ideally entrust the piece to a specialist.

Storing your leather piece

Hang your jacket on a suitable hanger that supports the shoulders. Keep it in a dry, ventilated place, away from prolonged sun exposure and direct heat. Avoid compressing the leather for long periods or keeping it for a long time in an airtight plastic cover.
