Right of withdrawal
For distance purchases to which the French or European right of withdrawal applies, the consumer in principle has 14 days from receipt of the goods to notify their decision to withdraw, without having to give a reason.
After this notification, the goods must be returned within the applicable legal period. To make your request easier to process, contact us before shipping the return so that we can give you the procedure for your order.
Condition of returned items
Items must only be handled to the extent necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and proper functioning. Any loss in value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary may be taken into account under the conditions provided by law.
First size exchange
If you would like to change size, contact Varenne before returning the item. After receipt and inspection of the returned item, Varenne covers the shipping of the first replacement size, subject to availability and compliance with the applicable return conditions.
This covers the shipping of the new size. It does not mean that a prepaid return label is provided. The practical return arrangements are given to you when you contact us.
If the requested size is no longer available, we will offer a solution suited to your order, without prejudice to your statutory rights.
Refund
When the right of withdrawal applies, the refund is made within the time limits and in the manner provided by the applicable regulations. In the cases provided by law, the refund may be withheld until the goods have been received back or until proof of their dispatch has been provided.
Personalised or made-to-measure pieces
Certain legal exceptions to the right of withdrawal may apply, in particular to goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised. Whether an exception applies depends on the actual nature of the order concerned.
